Kay joined the TDC team at the beginning of 2016, when he completed his DiveMaster training with us and proved himself to be a conscientious Divemaster. After a year working as a DM, Kay went through the Instructor Development Course, gaining the prestigious Open Water SCUBA Instructor Certification in December 2017! Since then, his students’ comments just show that this is the job he was designed for 🙂 He will ensure you have a great experience here in Tioman, both in and out of the water.
As a professional chef in a past life, working around the world, notably as a tepanyaki chef at Le Meridien Hotel in Dubai, Kay has many strings to his bow, but since arriving in Tioman, has realized that Island life, really is as idyllic as people say… so he’s here to stay!
