Open Water Diver Tioman
Want to experience SCUBA diving, but don’t have the time to complete a dive course? Then Discover Scuba Dive could be for you!This is a half day program, designed for beginner divers. You do not need any prior experience to complete this program, and swimming skills are not essential, as with the other courses.

What is involved?
- A short session involving basic theory with your instructor
- A skills session in shallow water, to ensure that you are comfortable in the water and with your equipment.
- An open water dive; either from the boat (RM250), or from the beach (RM200).
Compulsory Pre-requisites
- There are no pre-requisites to complete a Discover Scuba Dive experience.
- You just need to complete a short medical questionnaire to ensure you are fit to dive – ask us for more details.
- This is a great option for people who have never tried diving before, or those who are less confident in the water.
How long does the course take?
- Our Morning ‘DSD’ session starts at 9:00am, and finishes by 1:30pm.This can be completed from the boat or from the beach.
- Our afternoon ‘DSD’ session starts at 2:30pm, and finishes by around 5:30pm. The afternoon session is from the beach only.
