Our official motto at Tioman Dive Centre is "fun, safety, conservation" and we like to think we live up to this!

Occasionally, customers are kind enough to write to us after they have left - and some people actually write regularly! Here is a selection of what some of them have to say. Trust us - these are all real, we don't make them up!

Thanks for yet another FANTASTIC weekend's diving - I loved all the dives and it was great to see you all again. Thanks as well for your patience, especially with me being a bit slow on the uptake!! Hello guys,

I just want to share how I felt bout scuba diving.

Its really a valuable experience for me to discover a new world beneath the sea. I will never forget the feeling of my first squeeze and how comfortably I am
to handle the pain. The biggest achievement for me is to be able to swim more than 5 metres and that I have going much deeper up to 18 metres. So much to tell yet I dont know how to describe my feeling.. miss the turtle, groupa, clown fish, squid and the list go on.

Therefore, I am sorry to tell you guys, that I will be back for my next diving trip before i take my advance. Ready to be bugged by me..lol.

Hi Kaj and Barb

Just wanted to say a big thanks for making my return to diving such an easy
one. After 7 years I thought it was going to be a tough task, but with your
patience, support and 'laid-back' approach it wasn't just manageable but
positively enjoyable! We were so disappointed not to dive today but will
hopefully return in the not too distant future to try and find 'the turtle
the size of a truck!'.

Hi Rosarii!
I hope things are going well there in paradise! Kien and I are already planning our next dive trip which hopefully be in the next month or so if we can get away for a long weekend. We are now addicted to the Blue Planet and will soon be experts in naming fish! Ha! I think not….
We were all greatly impressed with the diving and diving instructors that week and I want to thank you once again for an excellent introduction to this new world of diving.
I am sure we will be returning soon….

Hi Julian,
A message to all of you - back in Saigon is hard to enjoy when it's mostly work work work for us but there is a lot to enjoy as a visitor and we want to show you when you come to visit! Please do it! We had such a good time on Tioman with you (please tell Andrew that it was a very very good experience to go through the course with him - and very appreciated!) and still talk about the great atmosphere that you've got going there at your dive centre. We have every intention of coming back - and hope that all 3 of you will be there when we do. But, just in case the round-S.E.Asia travelling starts before we manage to return to Tioman, once again the offer is there - come visit us please!

Nice to hear from you guys.
I still remember fondly my days on Tioman and look forward to returning sometime soon. In the meantime I brag to pale-skinned Londoners about my adventurers.
The night dive seems to capture their imagination--
"oh yes..I dived in pitched black--- except for the flashes of Lightening that illuminated the water ..." I explain with nonchalant coolness, as they listen transfixed with horror. Yes sunny London ya gotta love it.
Glad you enjoyed the Gin--it was a way to extend my stay maybe not in body but in at least in "spirit"-- wish I was on the deck enjoying it with you guys.
Please stay in touch and let me know if you ever need anything from this side of the planet that I can post it to you. Hope you find some cool Nudi's

Thanks again for having us all this weekend. I really appreciate all the effort to organise diving, dinner, drinks and putting up with us generally! Thought I'd forward on this very positive feedback from one of the newer divers after the weekend:

It was a lovely weekend, and Julian definitely runs a good ship over there. I can see why you guys dive with him so often. The one thing I forgot to do though, was to leave a tip for the team. Feel really bad about that, especially given their excellent service. But I figure that just means that I'll have to go back there again, and this time, I'll just have to make sure that I leave a tip that's double the size! ;o)

I also heard quite a few compliments for Rosarii as a really good instructor as the newer divers seemed to be very impressed with her in particular and she was very helpful.
